And surprisingly. Henry kinda liked it. More than anything, I think he likes being upright. It helps with his digestion, and God knows, he needs all the help he can get. For those of you who haven't been following our saga, we are now on formula number 5. It's a soy formula, and we're hoping that his gas and general discomfort issues are due to a milk allergy. The soy seems to be working for him, but man, does this kid know how to spit-up. We must change his clothes five times a day. He doesn't get upset, he just spews. Doctor says that as long as he's gaining weight (not a problem for our little chunk), the spit up is fine. Apparently at six months the bottom of the esophagus tightens up and doesn't allow the formula to come back up.
Three months to go!
John had commented that it kind of makes him sad that Henry is in the exersaucer now (not that he really does anything in it), it just illustrates how "grown up" Cole is getting. He always wants to help - whether it's carrying the bottle, grabbing a diaper, or helping John take off his shoes when he comes home from work, he genuinely wants to be a help.
Knock on wood, but I think that we may finally have two healthy kids. I'm hoping that with the turn in the weather we'll be over that hill. Now if we can just stay healthy....
