When I think that less than three years ago, I was a single woman, working full-time in Florida, it blows my mind. It seems like a different life. A stark contrast to my current situation. I'm now a full time wife and stay-at-home-mom to two, count 'em, two very young boys (& living in Oklahoma!). Did I ever in a million years see it coming? No way. When John and I met, we were both 23, and brand new in the coin business. He was a customer of mine, and there was always an odd connection. Something was there, we had the same sense of humor - a sarcastic type of banter. Over the course of our acquaintanceship, he married his high school girlfriend and I dated a few different people. Romance was never a consideration - it truly never entered our minds we simply continued to enjoy the occasional witty dialogue every 2 weeks or so when we'd see each other while on the road at trade-shows. This continued for about 4 years or so. In January of 2004, something changed. There was a type of attraction there that hadn't been there before. I didn't know it, but he had been separated from his (now) ex-wife for quite some time, but not told anyone. Deciding to go out on a limb, he confided in me and asked me out. I was so nervous - this would change everything. And it did....... Check us out just a year and a half later.
